This is my very first post here.
I’m currently learning and memorizing information from different topics. In this case, I’ve set myself the challenge of memorizing all the municipalities of my country: Spain.
I understand this challenge as being able to either point out where a town is located on a map or to recognize the town by its area.
FYI: Spain is divided into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities, which are further divided into 50 provinces, and then into municipalities — ranging from large cities like Madrid or Barcelona to tiny villages with just five people living there most of the year. Note that some municipalities include several villages, but this is not always precisely documented, so I won’t be memorizing those (which are surely over 10,000 in total).
I started with the Madrid which has 179 municipalities. Now I’m working on the Toledo area, which has 205.
