Instantly Using Memory Palaces when Reading a Book

Hello guys!

I’ve started experimenting with memory techniques some 3 months ago, and in those times, I’ve been able to memorize the first 100 digits of pie and some numbers (dates in books I’ve read, account numbers of people etc) personal to me using the Major system.

Currently, I face two challenges:

  1. I’m doing a lot of maths and I have difficulty converting maths symbols.
  2. Whenever I read a book (prose), I try to imagine things and place them in memory palaces in order to remember, then I do recall excercises from time to time.

I wonder if anyone can chip in with suggestion on my methods. It would be very helpful.
