Hello everyone. I’m learning a lot of words to become a Scrabble champion. I use the spaced repetition technique. But some say H+1, D+1, W+1, M+1, M+6, while others say D+1, D+2, D+4, D+8, D+16, D+32, D+64. What’s the best spacing? I really want to be totally sure of what I learn, because if I’m not, I won’t dare to put the word on paper on Scrabble competitions, fearing a zero.
If you use the Anki flashcard app, it has basically the gold standard of spaced review algorithms built in as its default setting. You just need to be honest when answering whether it was a fail, easy, ok, or hard to answer. Then it will automatically track and schedule reviews for you based on ease.
Side note: I’ve just created a scrabble tag to organize the discussions about Scrabble and make them easier to find.

Unfortunately, I don’t have Internet when I work my Scrabble games. And I don’t have a mobile phone.
You shouldn’t need internet all the time for Anki. Just get it on the computer and populate the cards.
The point of Anki is to get it in your head (memorise it) so that you don’t need anything at all when you’re put “on the spot”
You can use it (create card and review them) on the computer or phone, and only need internet to synchronise from time to time (like if you want to review on other device).
(Actually that’s why I began with anki so long ago, I wanted to be able to work offline, mobile data was still expensive back then)
