I came in that topic basically to give few tips to study better and ask them.
So those days I am finding my performance at studies are sucking to a considerable extent, and what I noticed is that I am often diverting my attention to several different things while studying. It is said that is it takes 15 minutes after an interruption (something like that) to be able to concentrate back in some subject, so my insight is: Electronic devices and social medias are “programmed” to makes us ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder) pals, because everyday you are bombarded with an insurmountable amount of disconnected information and sometimes you are withdrawn to check them everytime. Your senses are overload, so what that habit of multitasking creates is training yourself to be ADHD, and I guess the ideal is for you to be focused only in one thing at time without losing focus. In that Tedx Talk that I have watched a time ago; that is one of the best ones I have watched in my whole life, that stereotypical monk, called Dandapani, explains in a very succinct and didactic way how your attention works: Imagine your attention is a ball and you can direct it to whenever you want (e.g if you direct your attention to your feet, you will feel it more than if you don’t); when you multitask, you are basically dividing that ball and then you are diverted into multiple tasks and diving the power of your creative power multiple times; not only that, but you are training yourself to do so. Here I will leave his original speech below and if you have any humble tips for studying more efficiently, please let me know and please share it with us because that always generate an interesting discussion. Thanks.

You might like Digital Minimalism. My phone was damaging my focus until a few years ago when I uninstalled most apps and turned off all the notifications for just about everything. I made the phone as difficult to use as possible. I don’t log in to websites there, so I can’t post, only read something if needed. I don’t sync my laptop with my phone. I don’t install a lot of apps, because I don’t want to be able to do things on my phone.
I’ll check out the video later tonight.
