To improve your memory, you’ll need to develop specific techniques for each type of information you want to remember, (ex.: numbers, cards, images, names, or words, etc…). You can find many systems online.

Building a Consistent Habit
Once you have a goal, than you need establish a consistent habit or system for practice. Start gradually to avoid burnout. For example:

Week 1: Practice for 5 minutes every second day.
2 weeks: Increase to 10 minutes daily.
After a month: for 15-30 minutes.

As you become expert, you can gradually increase your training time. Overtraining in the beginning will likely lead to discouragement and make you abandon your efforts.

it’s important to accept that you won’t memorize vast amounts of information instantly Memory techniques can be a bit confusing at first, and it takes time but with discipline you can boost your memory radically.

You can follow the given points/techniques to train your memory.

1) Use Mnemonics -
Make trick to learn some order and group of example, in form a sentence that you can relate or memorize easily. For example with the phrase “Happy Henry Likes Beans Brownies, Chocolate, Nuts, Over Friday News” represent the order the first 10 element of periodic table - H, He, Li, Be, B, C, N, O, F, Ne.

2) Use Method of Loci
This method involve visualisation and connect a fact with a location. You can connect facts with different locations to memorize them easily.

3) Use Flash Card
When revise anything from your book or notes then information comes in a specific order that our mind aware of, but if someone ask question randomly then our mind will struggle to answer that particular thing. But with flashcard all information throw you in a random order which we will eventually retain in our mind.

4) Use Active Recall
Active recall is technique in which something is hind in a piece of information (or fill in blanks) and you have to think actively to remember that particular thing. And is way more powerful than traditional notes or book reading techniques.

I hope this will help you
