I like to combine multiple words inte one picture, it makes me remember much better. Although, this bringa the problem (for example when doing memory league) to keep the words in order. At the moment, I sort them from “top to bottom” (for example, tree, school and peas would be a three growing on top of a clock, which is in a jag of peas), is there any bitter ways to order?
Thats a good way but you might also try different combinations such as:
Large middle and small
aggressor victim neutral
Left to right
Try color coding if your able to maybe Red Green Blue
Sometimes having the consistency of always top middle bottom works best and for speed you would have less to pause and think about but for some people having more options is best. Maybe try doing the three items in all large middle small size and time it and the. do the same test with a set of aggressor victim neutral and the other ways to see which is faster. Maybe doing whatever comes to mind with any of the choices will be fastest and most memorable.
Linking method, make a story.
For example, with your words I’d imagine a large tree walking into school as if it was another student and when he finally enters a rain of peas starts falling into it.
When you combine the images like you did you just get one full image and then have to remember which part of the image goes first, but with a story it will always have a correct sequence. For example, the rain of peas is falling inside the school, it can’t hit the tree if it hasn’t walked into it first, so you know that tree and school have to go before peas.
