How do I memorise this data table?

Hi all, I’m new here and studying for a basic IT certification (CompTIA A+). I’m struggling to memorise this table:

I have a weak foundation in memory techniques even though I know about them. I don’t want to set up a memory palace at this point, basically I want to use what I can with minimal overhead. The idea I currently have now is:

  1. Memorise the order of the first column (the 802.11 wireless standards)
  2. For each 802.11 standard, I will memorise each row somehow as well
  3. In a nutshell, I will be memorising a nested linked list

Characters for step 1
A - Abe (from Abe’s Odyssey)
B - Mr Bean
G - Genos (from One Punch Man, the anime)
N - Nina (24)
C (forget the AC, I want to simplify it) - Chewbacca
X (forget the AX, I want to simplify it) - Professor X

I’ve formed a linked list in my brain for each character interacting with the other. This is the easy part, now what?

Possibilities:

  1. If I use pegs for 2.4 and 5 (how do I remember a period anyway? maybe I just simplify to just ‘2’), then won’t I be confused? There are multiple instances of 2.4 and 5, some are combined as well.
  2. Same question for columns 4 and 5

P.S I admit already have memorised some of it, but it’s rushed and it’s not worth me describing my approach here. I’ve had to rememorise it a couple of times using other images, so it’s kinda messed up in my brain. It’s a vague blob of images I can summon up, and takes more effort than I’d like. Posting here mainly to gather extra ideas in case someone has already done something similar.

The reason you’re memorizing it is important.
If all you need to do is reproduce the table on a sheet of paper, IMO the approach would be different than, say, being able to name what is the item for a particular x/y pair. So which is it?

Not fully related: to me it shows your post as “Sep '22”; but also shows it as “6d ago”. Which part is the interface is broken? I assumed it is recent because it is on the front page, but I am not sure.
