Hi, I don’t speak English, but I’m translating this with AI. My question is that I don’t know much about the memory palace technique, and I want to know how I can practice it every day to keep improving. I don’t find it very useful for school yet, but I’d like to master this technique as much as possible.
Use it. Learn something. Empty memory palaces are harder than filled ones.
@Bro9082, Hari-P’s advice is the key: a palace becomes useful once it holds something. A simple daily routine is to choose one small real target each day, such as ten vocabulary words, a short list or a few definitions from a class, and place one image on each spot of a palace with ten locations in your home. Review it a few hours later, then the next day and a few days after that. Once that feels easy, add a second palace from a route you walk often. School material becomes easier to store once making vivid images is automatic.
Thanks! I’ll start learning random things we cover at school to gradually master them. We’ll see if they become useful in the future @willowfern251
