Hello, folks
I’ve just started this so i don’t know too much about this.
But i wanted to learn the art of memory.
As you guys seems to be preety great at this
So i wanna ask some questions regarding this.

But first let you something about me
I have some basic ideas of how memory palace work, i can remember whatever i did in the whole day (not precise though, and can’t remember the next day), i sometimes use stories to remember small details (specially numbers & words)
But I’m terrible at remembering faces and names.

So my questions are…

Since I’ve just started out, what method will be the best ?

How do i remeber 2 diffrent numerical details, should i add both in memory palace or make two memory palace ?

As i observed that this is all about imagination
So how can i improve my imagination power?

Is there any method for remembering faces and patterns (like japanese characters) ?

Any tips, dos and don’ts ? Or games ?

There is a wiki page on memorizing names and faces with a few ideas. You can practice memorizing names on Memory League.

Could you provide a few examples of the information you’re trying to remember?

Type “visualization” into the search box and there will be a few results about it.

A search for “Japanese” in the search box should turn up a few discussions about it.

There is Memory League and a few other memory training tools.

For example I’ve learned my credit card number with mind palace technique but then how do i remeber the exp date and cvv?

You can remember the other numbers by adding a few more locations to the end of the memory journey.
