Help memorising Edit Controller

I have to memorise a new keyboard layout for work. One hand only.

Used Star Wars characters for the letters.

QWERT

ASDFG

ZXCVB

QuiGon, Wicket, Echo, R2, Thrawn

Anakin, Subulba, Dash, Fin, Greedo

Zuckuss, Xizor, Chewie, Vader, Boosh.

Individual rows left to right / right to left are fine as are their functions, but I am becoming a little unstuck figuring out memorising which character are pressed by which finger.

Pinky Ring Middle Index

QuiGon Wicket Echo R2 Thrawn

lift\] \[scissors\] \[extend\] \[splice\] \[overwrite

Anakin Subulba Dash Fin Greedo

begin\] \[end\] \[in\] \[out\] \[mark

Zuckuss Xizor Chewie Vader Boosh

left\] \[right\] \[copy\] \[cut\] \[monitor

I thought maybe encoding each character with a pig, a ring, but I have no idea how to represent middle or index.

Could label the fingers 1-4 and encode that way. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi. You could create false words with the letters

Last time I tried something similar I had:

Matrix movie characters for the fingers.

Left hand females, right hand males.

Paired, e.g. index was Neo and Trinity.

Then I had three “locations”/objects for the rows: a footstool, a desk, etc.

(Extra for the middle columns)

Then each letter had a tool:

Axe, Blowtorch, Chisel, Drill, etc.

I then practiced the scenes for the combinations.
