I currently have a mind palace consisting of 65 locations, which correspond to my home and surroundings.
My goal is to memorize 65 concepts and their definitions from microeconomics, so I will assign each of them an image and link it to a position in my mind palace.
I will then transform each definition of the concepts into images so that I can remember them more easily.
So I wanted to know if there is anyone else who has done this to see if it is possible to do it, especially since it is a large amount of concepts and I plan to make it even bigger.
This seems to be exactly what I do for law, ie memorizing what different actions and such there are, when they can be undertaken and what they do. So yes, it is certainly possible to memorize concepts like that. Just don’t let that be your only learning method, you gotta use the concepts to really get the full picture.
No problem at all doing this. I have a palace for in-built javascript methods/functions that’s about that size.
I find the difficulty comes expanding on a single loci, when there’s a lot of subsequent layers of information. Still looking for a reliable way to create ‘palace inception’ in this case.
If you have issues with an MP of that size, you can consider splitting it up into smaller segments. Or generally develop smaller MPs.
One of the major issues people report is getting tired and it often turns out that their MPs are just too big to complete a simple review session in a way that creates a sense of flow, momentum, and produces actual accomplishment.
