Gostaria de umas dicas?
- Pray about it and think hard about your why. You’ll need it when it gets hard (and it would be a pity if it stays only an intellectual exercise).
- Begin with something small and “easy” (some epistles may be short but they’re really hard doctrinally and the sentence structure is super complicated). The gospels (you can select stories) or maybe some psalms are better for a start.
- Don’t do this alone! If at all possible do it in person with other people you know, otherwise there are online communities that can be good “substitutes”.
- I do like to listen to podcasts of people who memorize although I don’t follow the same approach(es) as them, but it’s always good to see what others are doing to consider several options and choose something that suits you and your goals. Unfortunately I don’t really know ressources for Portuguese.
