Hey, im new here and i’m really wanting to try the Memory Palace technique…
I’ve gone through the wiki and everything but i still wanted to ask for the best guide for total begginers on this method… i would really appreciate it!
Also, what are the best books to learn from to a total begginer? , i’ve thought about Moonwalking With Einstein,
is it good for learning?
Thank you!

Moonwalking With Einstein is more of a book about the people who go to memory competitions than a book about how to use memory techniques. It’s fun to read, though!
There are oodles of books out there that can teach you - they all say the same basic thing, so you can take your pick, The book that got me started was Use Your Memory by Tony Buzan.
But that was in the days before this kind of stuff was everywhere on the internet! If you want to learn the basics for free, just click on the Wiki tab up at the top of the screen here on mnemotechnics.org and read the pages listed under ‘Memory Systems’! ![]()
Thank you very much!
I have another question though, Ive managed to remember 24 out of 25 words using the loci technique , and its awesome ! but I really want to use this method to remember useful things and not just lists, such as formulas or historical events for my exams. How can i practice to do it?
Thank you
