Sorry for the delays. We’re still hard at work on it, and we expect the next section to be released soon. I don’t have an exact time estimate, but it’s getting closer! ![]()
Thanks Guys !
looking foward to when the software will be ready this year .
ED
Josh, could you also send me the info on PayPal. I would like to pay by that method.
I will send you a message.
It’s been about a month since the last comment about the status of the app. Just curious if there is an update on the progress of the app yet? Thanks!
I’d also like an update. I ordered last November when the expected delivery date was December 2016 expecting to get the software in a month. Then it got pushed back until January. Then you were going to give an update in February at which point you pushed the release to March. Then in March you said you’d release an update in a day or two and then didn’t say anything until May at which point you say you expect the release soon. We’re now over a month later without another update and a full 7 months behind schedule and your only estimate now is sometime in 2017. Thats completely ridiculous.
@ptken - sorry for the delay in providing another update and thanks for the reminder! See below.
@Sanswork – we’re happy to refund you if you are not satisfied in any way. Just PM me the email address you used to make your preorder and we’ll process the refund right away.
We’re offering the software at a large discount for people who help fund its development, and if you’re not satisfied with progress at any time, just let us know and we’ll give you an immediate refund. Also, the subscriptions don’t start until the software is completely delivered, so we are giving free access to everything released incrementally to backers until then, which currently includes Memory League (and will soon include the tutorials and memory system builder).
The tutorials and memory system builder are almost ready for beta – we hope to release them in a few weeks and are working very hard to meet this goal. After that, we’ll prepare the memory palace manager for beta.
We’ve also been expanding the memory training/competition part of the software with Memory League Championships in Sweden and Germany last month, in addition to adding a number of updates to the software itself, which you can read on the home page. Some updates include adding new languages to the Names game (French, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian), and we have 8 other languages that are currently in the works. We’re also working on adding words in a few other languages.
Very sorry for the delays, and thanks to everyone for all your patience and support of the project!
Issa
Thank you for the update. A little information goes a long way! It’s nice to know the status of the project and I look forward to giving it a try!
Josh:
I am definitely interested in ether a 3 month or two year subscription. Will I be handicapped in any way because my computer does not have a cd player. THAI EXPAT
The software runs in the browser, so you won’t need a CD player.
yo will this be free software as in libre.
It’s online software that is heavily integrated with the rest of the sites, so we’re not planning on that at the moment.
Does the software encompass training for all competition categories? Sorry, I know it’s a very general question. It’s just that I’m currently looking for ways to expand to other categories in memory sports.
Hi @RubiksKid,
The software subscription includes full access to Memory League, and you can use the software to learn and train systems for all competition disciplines, but it doesn’t include functionality to practice non-Memory League disciplines at this stage.
Oh okay, I see. Thank you for the info, Simon.
Is there an actual date for the release of the app yet? it seems to be taking an extremely long time!
Additionally rather than be reactive you guys could be more proactive in communicating with people to inform them of the latest situation. I am interested in the app but rarely visit this forum and it is very likely there are others in a similar situation. It would be nice if you could email us every now and then so that we’re not in the dark about the progress. It is quite frustrating.
Thanks for your feedback and for backing us on Kickstarter.
The software is already fully functional and provides just about all the functionality we listed in the Kickstarter. We’re still adding more content and some additional features that backers have requested, which you can read about in our latest update.
Despite its being fully functional, we’ve kept the software in beta because we want to add more tutorials and memo sets, and finish the last few features we’re working on before starting the clocks on the subscriptions so that backers get more.
All backers also have a full subscription to Memory League.
All of the updates have been sent via Kickstarter and our special newsletter for people who have pre-ordered the software, and, when applicable, have also been posted here in the forum. The last Kickstarter update went out on October 23rd. (If you haven’t received it, check your spam folder or let us know.) The update is also in the forum here. We will be posting another update soon ![]()
Feel free to email us at [email protected] any time if you have any other feedback or suggestions.
This is gonna be HUGE. Can’t wait for it.
I’m already a subscriber, and I like the Journey system along with Memosets. Great ideas.
I’ve suggested a couple updates with the Logo link being on the Navbar to get an easy access to ML, and the ability to sort the order of the journeys and memosets, and was told it was being done.Slowly but surely, all is good!
Fully functional? I was under the impression when finished this would be an app I could use on my mobile? From what i can see it’s only accessible via desktop?
