Notice: the below decribed system is a not fully developed prototype system. A better version of this system is posted directly below. So you may want to skip this one if it doesn’t make much sense to you (not in the last place since it is a phonetic system mostly based on the Dutch language, explaining it in English is not all that easy).
I have tried to make a 3 digit consonant-vowel-consonant system in the past but it resulted in way too many words without any natural meaning. So I created a system that makes 10 3 digit words for every 2 digit word (from any 2 digit word system). Please keep in mind that my system is mostly based on the Dutch language, but I imagine you will be able to get the basic idea.
Step 1. make or use simple 2 digit number to letter system
The system I use is as follows.
first digit and second digit:
0 = p; o
1 = l; i
2 = n; an
3 = m; am
4 = k; ak
5 = s; as
6 = b; ab
7 = t; at
8 = f; af
9 = g; ag
example:
22 34 78 00 99 45 63
nan mak taf po gag kas bam
Step 2. create a translation for the first number of every 3 digit number
0 = o (everything that you throw in the o shape opening of a washing machine; keep in mind that this about mnemonics, so is doesn’t matter if the chosen object normally doesn’t go in the washing machine)
1 = i (i in Dutch sounds like EEE, as in “EEE that … is dirty)
2 = no (not/the opposite)
3 = m (MMM as in “I would like to eat …”)
4 = ka (expression of anger/ I don’t like this …)
5 = si (yes in Spanish/ this … is really good)
6 = bo (sounds like bea in French → beautiful referring to people, so all bxx numbers are people)
7 = to (toveren is Dutch for performing magic → all things magical)
8 = fu (vuur is fire in Dutch → things that are or could be on fire)
9 = ga (ga is go in Dutch → things that you imagine going fast)
Step 3. create your 1000 images
examples:
185 = ifas (something that is dirty and fast → Mad Max dirt buggy)
285 = (nofas; not fast-> a turtle)
611 = boli (beautiful person li [pronounced in Dutch as lee]-> Bruce lee)
702 = topan (Dutch toverpan → magical pan → a pan with magic mushrooms)
054 = osak (zak is Dutch for bag, so a bag that you throw in the washing machine → a bag of marbles; just imagine that the marbles need to be nice and shiny, so therefore you throw them in the washing machine).
305 = mpas (pas is Dutch for creditcard; imagine cutting a pizza with a creditcard → mpas is a pizza)
