It’s my first attempt at drawing a realistic portrait at an A3 scale from MEMORY.

Faker has some parallels to memory sports because he is all about intensive practice.

The video is already 1 like away from being my lost liked video in just 2 days, it’s great.
Before I made the drawing, I was really nervous. Drawing people from memory is a tough challenge that I either can or can’t do. Fortunately my memory prevailed once again and extended my area of abilities. All I needed was 10-15 minutes of observing and I felt confident enough to try.
As for my next projects, in the near future I’ll make drawings of the same level of size. In the far future I want to go bigger. I already ordered a 10 meter by 1 meter long drawing paper roll that I can cut to what ever size I want and ordered some extra drawing materials. I intend to build up confidence first by challenging myself to draw complex things from memory on a smaller scale. This will also help me figure out where the limit of my ability lies. Can I do multiple buildings from memory? A whole street? Maybe a landscape? We shall see.
I’ll try to share my progress here as much as possible and on my YouTube channel.
