Does anyone have a solution? [learning 10,000 words in a foreign language]

I have an issue: I want to learn 10,000 words in a foreign language. However, instead of learning just one meaning per word, I want to learn the most common ones, which means 3 meanings per word. Since I need context, that means I would need to learn a sentence for each meaning, so that would be 3 sentences per word. In total, that would result in 30,000 sentences, which I don’t want. I would like to combine them so that I end up with fewer sentences. So, does anyone have a solution for how I can already have these 30,000 sentences, while also being able to create new ones by combining them, but in a way that reduces the total number?

I’m not sure if it would affect things, but what language are you learning?

Is there a reason you want to learn those 10,000 words? I’m just brainstorming here, but it might be more effective to start with a smaller goal, like learning the main meanings of 500 or 2,000 words. Then practice a lot with conversation, books, movies, podcasts, writing, etc., which will reveal multiple meanings of words as they arise, starting with the most common ones. After you complete the smaller goal, then you could pick up a new set of words and continue. It might be a more natural way to pick things up, and it might feel less overwhelming.

For size comparison, memorizing 30,000 sentences (or verses) is about the length of the Bible. If you reduce the number to 15,000, it’s still about the length of half of the Bible, and you would have to write those sentences unless you have another way of generating them.

Any sentence contains more than one word, right? Auxilliary verbs will really get a workout. If you mean expressions and sayings, I’m not sure any one language even has thirty thousand of those.

Yeah, definitely begin with a hundred words only.
It will allow you to set up and perfect your system and know what works.
And also you’ll see if it’s really the most useful thing you can do to use the language the way you want to (do you want to read literature, understand lectures, speak with people…?).

The most important thing is how to create pre-built sentences that use the most common words so that they can be added to Anki.
