Do you know any memory game?

Hello, I’m reaching out to you with a request. I’m a student at the university, majoring in pedagogy. I need to prepare a ten-minute activity for my fellow students for the next class. Can you think of any memory game (applicable in biology) that could be used in this way? Any other idea? No mind maps please

I learned one of my favorite memory games at one of the Polyglot Conferences in Berlin.

You get at least 3 people in a circle. The max I’ve played with is 7, which is challenging, but works fine.

Each person starts a narrative sentence, and adds a detail. Each player has to correctly recall each previous entry in order.

For example:

Player one: A cat stretches on a mat…

Player two: A cat stretches on a mat while eating sandwiches…

Player three: A cat stretches on a mat while eating sandwiches covered in hair from a great wooly mammoth…

And on and on until the first person makes a mistake.

Everyone gets great memory exercise.

I’ve developed two other memory games. The first one has been released and we have a blast every time I host it.

I’ll probably release the second game sometime next year. It’s still in the testing phase, but it is a lot of fun.
