I have finished making the whole 1.000 images list. I replaced two categories because the old ones didn’t really work; 2 is now a water tap (shape based) with the concept “(in the) rain” and 8 is now a bodybuilder (also shape based) with the concept “strength/muscles”. For practice it is usefull to have an imagined number keyboard like this one:
So as an example in order to train the 10 3 digit numbers ending with 81, I first imagine (0)81 (= FI → Dutch word fiets → bicycle). After that I follow the number keypad in my head, so
- 181 = dirty bicycle;
- 281 = bicycle in the rain;
- 381 = bicyclist drinking
- 481 = bicycle downhill;
- 581 = famous bicycle person (Comedian Urbanus with super bicycle helmet act);
- 681 = bicyclist attacked by tennis ball canon;
- 781 = hometrainer/bicycle at swimming pool;
- 881 = super muscled bicycle sprinter;
- 981 = "funny"clown of monocycle.

For people that are good at conceptual thinking and already have a 2 digit system (of any kind) I have created 9 single digits concepts that allow for an extension to a 3 digit system. The 3 digit numbers starting with 0 are read the same as the 2 digit number without the 0, so if for example your Shaper system 19 is an elephant, then 019 is also an elephant.
Examples:
In my system 6 is a b (letter shape based), so 66 is bob(sled), now let’s look at some possible 3 digit extensions.
266 = pulling + bobsled → a train is pulling the bobsled to the start of the competition.
366 = eating and drinking + bobsled → the bobsledders are cold and could really use some wodka.
966 = (evil) laughing + bobsled → some evil person put butter on the seats of the bobsled.
In my system 2 is an n and 3 is an m (both letter shape based), so 32 is (he-)man, some examples:
132 = dirty + He-man → he-man is dirty (paint all over his shirt) because he has painted a painting of Skeletor.
432 = sliding down hill + He-man → He-man is under attack by a giant scorpion that is sliding down the hill towards him.
732 = swimming pool + He-man → He-man saves She-ra from drowning in the swimming pool.
832 = blowing + He-man → a dragon tries to kill He-man by blowing fire at him.
Final words:
It is difficult to explain how I am actually using this system as opposed to how it is now presented above theoretically. The biclycle example is very textbook like and it will probably come as no surprise that I didn’t manage to find 100 ten digits collections like that. Let’s look at three examples of …58 variations to see how most of these collections are created. The number 58 is read as SaF. The Dutch slang word “saffie” means “sigaret”, so (0)58 is sigaret. 258 is a Paloma Faith singing in the rain (2 = water tap → rain) and asking for a smoke afterwards.
458 is a Dutch comedian from a tv show scene in which he is smoking a sigaret and pointing at something with the sigaret, so I imagine something strange coming downhill (4 is downhill) and the comedian is pointing at that something.
858 (8 = muscled/strength) is Arnold Schwarzenegger smoking.
I have taken the liberty to use some persons in multiple ways, because even when it’s the same person connected to multiple 3 digit numbers, those images are more memorable than most other images of persons of which I only have used for a single image.
