I was learning like topic to topic and only the most important things . Now i want to learn all 3-years material in 1 year - biology . Can you give me advices ? I dont even know how to start learning this whole material . Since now i was learning the most imporntant stuff like in small palaces - keep doing the same? or try to insert all of this loci in one big palace ? (and how to make one). I saw smth like flashcards system , but i dont really know what specifically it is . Thank you in advance ![]()
Hi Naerarz,
I think you don’t have to put everything in one big palace. For me personally, small palaces work even better than big ones since they aren’t as tiring. If you would like to make connections between the palaces, you can try to come up with a special image that takes you to another palace instantly. I have done that with putting an iPad there, which basically shows me the location in the other palace that I want to refer to.
Flashcard systems are very useful for spaced repetition (you could take a look at “Anki”, which is free). Of course a real card works as well, but you have to keep track on your own, which ones you have to review on what days). When I use them to repeat my memory palaces I just put the question on one side of the card and the answer (+ the location & picture in the memory palace) on the other side. That makes me go through my palace and therefore strengthens the image there (I usually do one review instantly after learning, the next after 1 day, then after 3 days, after 1 week, after 1 month, after 3 months, 6 months).
I hope this helps. ![]()
