I use the builder simulator, the truth is that it seems to me an almost perfect game to create memory palaces
Ive made a few from Destiny pvp maps and raids
I think The Sims by a large margin, you can make a house/palace with many rooms and a variety of furniture in like a couple hours.
I make Source maps (Counterstrike, Team Fortress etc) and they would work but its just not as efficient for this purpose. I think the palace is better if you make it but I guess if you memorized some maps already you can try to use that knowledge. For me I have a lot of maps memorized from shooters better than I know my own hand but they are not the best for memory palaces because most rooms are empty and there’s not a lot of detail. Counterstrike might work if you just do bomb sites.

The sims could be nice. It depends of your approach : or you build a house by yourself but this quite some times, or you just download houses and visit houses and it seems like a good plan. I used to use some MP from sims houses and I liked it. I kinda stop doing it for some reasons but I might get back to it. You can also look at youtube videos of people that built houses in the sims and use it.
I also use places from Red Dead redemption, its an open world so you visit anytime, houses are different, there are shops, saloon etc… It’s a good source of inspiration. I guess any game in open worlds can be a very good source of inspiration.

I’d recommend “Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments”. If you like detective games, this one is a gem. As you investigate various crime scenes and interrogate suspects, you’ll need to rely on your memory to recall evidence, connect clues, and ultimately solve the cases. It’s a good way to train your memory.

Hitman 2016, II and III all feature large, fully explorable Maps which you are encouraged to play through multiple times. You can cut them up into distinct areas if needed.

Elden Ring will probably have you die (and thus, rehearse the layout) a lot. Couple that with memorable fantasy architecture and you should be fine.

Metal Gear Solid 5 will have you spend a lot of time sneaking your way around outposts, meaning you’ll get a bunch of palaces.

I recently just finished Hogwarts Legacy and about to finish Zelda Tears of the Kingdom tons of potential places in those.

I actually tried Elden Ring but got too frustrated. But yes, this sort of game would work well lol.
The Baldur’s Gate 3 release date is in August. The city is supposed to be huge. I played through the early preview, but you can’t get to the city in the preview.

Well, first of all this platform i.e. artofmemory.com is itself a big example for creating memory palaces. Apart from this there are other games like Call of duty, memory league, mind palae vr and super power 64.
