Hello Everyone,

The Asian-Oceanian Open 2026 will take place on August 29/30 and the registration is open now and closes on 2026-07-29T19:00:00Z

Be aware that the tournament will take place in the Asian time zone and the Round of 16 starts at 9:00 AM GMT +9

Attention to new registration procedure: We have created a new platform for registrations, match making and tournament organization. To compete in the upcoming Slam or Qualifier you need to:

  1. Register on the new platform https://ml-match-maker.base44.app
  2. Wait for approval (That will take a few hours)
  3. Register for the Tournament by going to the platform then Click on Tournaments → Register

When the Qualification starts, you’ll see who your first opponent is and also the deadline which will probably be one week for each round. More information will be available here when the registration closes.

If you are in the Top 10 of the World Ranking you must register for the Qualifier in the same way. You don’t have to play in the qualifier though and will be moved to the main event by an organizer later.

The registration for the AOO is now closed. If you are already on the platform right now but have not registered you can do so until 2026-07-31T05:00:00Z.

For everyone who plays the tournament and needs to qualify: The Qualification will also start this Friday. Stay tuned for further information.

Everyone else who hasn’t done yet can of course register for the platform but won’t be able to play this tournament. However it’s recommended to register anyway since the next Season will be managed there as well.

The Qualification has started. You can arrange match times via the platform. Here is an instruction video for the app. Deadlines should be visible for your next matches. First rounds work like a Season match: First to 4 wins. Two points lead needed. Tie break at 4:4

I’ll update the platform next week and add a rules section.

Is there a bracket for the main tournament yet? I would like to see if I qualify who I would be playing in the main draw.
