Alternative to the first Rote Repetition- I heard of rote learning but I think that many of us in this forum do rote revision instead of rote learning, The alternative for the first revision of walking back your memory palace and seeing the same pictures again is to use picture notes of whatever you had forgotten in your Memory Palace, It really helps, Can you tell me of more but different alternatives to rote repetition such as thinking about your images.
Thought - I think that in one technique a person memorized key facts and bullet points and recalled them through out the day and he was able to get good grades in exams at least according to him.
Alternative to hand movements- Hand Movements are unnatural and one modified alternative is to count 1-4 using the images from your number system associated with numbers and the numbers associated with the images from your number system and doing them while reading at a slow speed if 60 words per minute(At first)
