African European Open 2026
The African European Open (AEO) 2026 will take place on November 7–8, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. GMT+1.
Please make sure you are available to play at this time before registering.
Tournament Format
The AEO is a 16-player knockout tournament.
Players who are ranked in the Top 10 of the World Ranking automatically qualify for the main tournament. The remaining places will be determined through a qualification tournament.
Important: Even if you are currently ranked in the World Top 10 and therefore qualify automatically, you still need to register for the AEO through this page:

Qualification Tournament
The qualification period will run from September 27 until November 1, 2026, one week before the main tournament.
The qualification will consist of approximately 3–4 rounds. Matches are not played at a fixed time. Instead, participants are responsible for arranging their matches themselves.
After registration closes, you will be able to see who your opponent is. You must then contact your opponent through this website or another communication channel, agree on a suitable time, and play your match before the deadline for that round.
The individual deadlines for each qualification round will be announced as soon as registration closes.
Please Register Only If You Can Participate
Please only register for the qualification tournament if you genuinely intend to play and have enough time during the qualification period to arrange and complete approximately 3–4 matches.
Scheduling the matches is the responsibility of the players, so please make sure you will be sufficiently available between September 27 and November 1.
