In school, i could not hold my attention no matter how hard i tried. I was too ashamed to tell this to my parents and they would’ve wrote it off as just me being plain stupid.
But i knew I wasn’t dumb. I could retain info for the stuff i was interested in.
So time moved on, i learned how to brute force info into my head, how to improvise in conversations when i don’t actually know what I’m answering for. And with this i never failed an exam, but i had no hope of me being the best.
Fast forward to when I’m 23, i get diagnosed with severe adhd. Got on meds (wasn’t like how anyone described. I didn’t gain any superpowers to learning. Just basically puked due to side effects everyday). But with time. I got used to it. And i could finally hold my attention.
Then i discover about the memory palace method. I used to drift off anytime anywhere, create stuff out of thin air. And now people are saying this is the most efficient way to store info?? No way!!. - that’s what i thought.
I gave it a shot, and yup. It works. Wayyy too well.
Now I’m prepping for the hardest exam my country can offer, and I’ve never grown more confident.
Question- I’m running out of areas to store info. What do i do?
