The IAM Board is composed of up to 7 representatives who lead the IAM by sharing the various responsibilities needed to bring the organisation forward. The board members bring their own opinions and viewpoints to the table, and work on shaping and developing the IAM on behalf of its members and the memory community.
The upcoming election will determine the board members for a term of 2 years, from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028.
The Election Timeline is as follows:
01 February 2026 (Sun) – Announcement
01 March 2026 (Sun) – Deadline for candidate applications
02 March 2026 (Mon) – Applications published, and public question round opens
09 March 2026 (Mon) – Public question round closes
10 March 2026 (Tue) – Questions sent to candidates
16 March 2026 (Mon) – Last day to register as an IAM member to be eligible to vote
17 March 2026 (Tue) – Deadline for candidates to answer public questions
18 March 2026 (Wed) – Candidate answers published
23 March 2026 (Mon) – Voting opens
30 March 2026 (Mon) – Voting closes
31 March 2026 (Tue) – Announcement of election result

In line with the election rules, all the above candidates are therefore elected to the IAM Board [for the term from 1st of April 2026 to 31st of March 2028].
