Do the 2000 years also have to be all different years? And is it only human history or will you also want to have cenozoic, mesozoic, paleozoic, etc. in it
Thank you for asking maya.
It will be human history but doesn’t matter if they are same or different years. I just need years. Like a timelines. I have searched for timelines but they are limited to like 500 events.
I have found this page, and I think 5 of the links could be of interest for you:
It is a timeline separated over a few lists, but I hope that’s no problem. Each of the timelines has its own years, so there will be no overlapping events.
Four of the five are human history: Ancient history (3200 bc to 500 ad), middle ages (500 to 1499), early modern history (1500 to 1900) and modern history (from 1901).
The fifth that could be of interest is the time from the first appearance of homo sapiens but before writing, which can be found under ‘prehistory’. Not sure if you want to include that too, but the link can at least be found on the page I linked.
I haven’t counted the amound of events listed, but I estimated that it gets close to the 2000, if not over it. It might also miss some of the “smaller” events that had no big influence world wide, only one country. Like, in 1953 there was a big flood in the netherlands, major history to people from the netherlands, though not very important for those in other parts of the world, I don’t even think anyone outside of the netherlands (and perhaps belgium) heard about it, so it’s not listed on the page I linked.
I checked it once but I didn’t checked it properly but after your recommendation when I checked it again properly, it seemed it’s just the thing I need. Thank you.
Hi suryasekhar,
There is a book called "The Big Book of Dates by Laurie Rozakis, Ph.D. You can find it on Amazon about $20. Maybe it’ll help.

I am gonna steal that idea and buy one as soon as I have money to spare again
Looked it up, and it seems to be a very neat book for mnemonists ![]()
