00-99 PAO (different approach with actions)

Hi all,

Inspired by previous conversation I had in the forum I’m sharing my PAO as I trust some people might find it helpful especially with coming up with actions for your people.

I found that my brain has no trouble distinguishing action from an object so some of my actions are made including objects like “shoving envelopes”, “opening a fridge”, “wearing on their head”, “flicking a switch” etc.. This can make one’s actions more exaggerated and vivid. Worked wonders for me so I hope you guys find it useful.

Here is my full 00-99 PAO. I reused my playing card PAOs for 01-52 that I encoded with category and major systems as per Nelson Dellis’ advice I received a year ago. The rest 53-99 I encoded with the Dominic System apart from some low hanging fruits that just “clicked” for me.

(Apologies for the fact that some of my images are quite explicit )

I was wondering what people think about this -

In creating a PAO, is it better for your actions to be things that can be done to an object, or the action involves some kind of object as well?

For example say my object is dirt. Is it a problem to have the action as a shovel, in a digging motion? Or should the action simply be some kind of ‘non-object’ action, perhaps such as ‘dropping’ or digging with hands?

I want to use either my object or my person to come up with some nice actions.

I have read that it is good to have actions that must be done to objects, and some actions, that do not require an object, are not as efficient.
