Another idea is to use your own 2 digit system with a number shape added as the action. And then Attach that to the Name or the Organisation.
5 Digits Method.
If you are using Persons in your 2 digit system, then this is how it would look like;
Say you want to memorise the phone number of a friend called “Alex”
let’s say the digits were;
01234 56789
Let’s say;
01 = Superman
2 = Blowing Fire (Action)
34 = Milk
You’d see/imagine Alex standing in front of you first.
On his Left hand side you’d see;
Superman- Blowing Fire - To A Glass Of Milk “that Alex is holding in his left hand.”
Now the next 5 digits;
56 = Batman
7 - Hammering
89 = Snorkel
On his Right hand side you’d see;
Batman - Hammering - the Snorkel “that Alex is holding in his right hand”
3 Digits Method.
You can also do this with 3 digits at a time.
Eliminate the Zero 0, because most phone numbers start with 0.
Now we have;
123 | 456 | 789
Again use the person with a number shape as an action.
12 - Abbie
3 = Kissing
Left side of Alex. (12 3)
Abbie is Kissing Alex on his left cheek.
45 - Spiderman
6 - Frying Pan
To the head of Alex (45 6)
Spiderman is Hitting Alex over the Head with a Frying pan.
78 - Matrix
9 - Boxing
On the Right side of Alex (78 9)
Matrix is Boxing/Punching Alex on his right cheek/chin.
If the phone number was a Shop or an Organisation and Not a person.
You can simply use the same method.
Let’s say it was the Barber shop
Simply add 5 digits at a time inside the barber shop to two spots of your choice. And do the same for any organisation, or as Silvio suggested use the Logo and make the actions happen around it.
I do use 5 digits method myself rather than 4 or 6 digits because most phone numbers are 10 digits, so I find it much easier to create the images and attach it to the person with his/her phone number. Works every time.
