100% Maps of Meaning by Jordan Peterson. Listened to audiobook at least 10 times in a row.
Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind by Shunryu Suzuki is another amazing book. One really cool thing about that one is you can basically open on any random page and it will “blow your mind”.
“understanding Understanding” is kind of a “coffee table” book, or a “museum book”, but it’s got some pretty “mind-expanding” sections. Multiple authors. “Curated” by Richard Saul Wirmann, definitely worth owning. https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/understanding-understanding_richard-saul-wurman/13531630/
pretty much every book by Thomas Sowell but particularly “Basic Economics”, “Economic Facts and Fallacies”, “Migrations and Cultures”. “Marxism” was good for “debunking” the appeal of Marxism, but was very boring.

“the Checklist Manifesto” by Atul Gawande was a super good book.
A book that I absolutely love. Mrs Dalloway by V Woolf. This is a very intense and short book. What I like in these really classic books is that you are told something extremely clearly, with great feeling and love, without them really saying to you, this is what you should think.
