A couple of weeks ago, @SimonReinhard wrote in another thread that it’s hard to compare results between disciplines, and that the ML rating (which includes the score component) is not “apt for that”. @Konsti also made his own adjustments to the score formula. But now they are suddenly “fine-tuned” and “accepted”? ![]()
I don’t think the ML score component is bad, but I’m not convinced that it is necessarily the best and most fair option to go ahead with. So far I prefer the “Time/Score Equivalent” option more, as I also think it is easier to make sense of it, compared to the score component formula, which is really just a bunch of random, artificial (fine-tuned) numbers.
