The tantalizing problem of using "Grid System"

I have been trying out different techniques which gave the most benefit on least effort. Right now a combination of Spaced Repetition and Mnemonics seems to work. I definitely want to onboard to Grid system, but unfortunately haven’t been able to utilise it (since I still don’t understand fully on how to use it).

Thank you, Josh!

I’m very new here and this was a big help to me!

Personally, I like the numbered rows because it is a grid system that I am familiar with (i.e. like spreadsheets).

I installed a simple using a 4 x 4 grid for simple memory items.
Seems to be helping with remembering simple ideas and concepts.

Use a classroom as a memory palace. There we have fixed number of rows and columns of benches. Assign the first bench of each column and each row as the respective headings of the table and proceed putting the information on the benches. Once you make that absolutely clear, you would instantly remember just by looking at the remaining benches as to what information it carries. You could start going from the front of the room to the back or vice versa.

The number of classrooms will essentially be a lot more than what you would need I guess: there could be a lot of different schools with their own number of classrooms. Just make each room unequivocally specific for the kind of information that it stores. That could be done by using the Major System. Name the class (usually it’s I-XII) and then assign that peg to the topic that has to be stored in it. To differentiate you could also paint the walls or the benches or combination of both of the room specific for the topics. I hope it helps.
