Spaced Learning technique(Not Spaced Repetition)

@Cantos’s referenced neurological research isn’t the only affirmative source for efficiency thence method. Some proficient and rich cultures (ex. Japanese, Russian, Swedish, Greek, Roman) contain meaningful references to a scheduled recall towards the bother. (I’ll post exemplars as I’ll research the matter further).
I myself found effectiveness in re-indexing my active palaces once a week, regarding active psychology course.
Relevant thread!

I tried to use this method while learning vocabulary of a foreign language and unfortunately it doesn’t work after a few days I forget what I learned so I think that just distracting myself is not a good idea but doing sports during the 10 minutes break must be more beneficial

after I tried shorter breaks like 2 or 4 minutes to learn more vocabulary in less time but it’s still not a very effective method for me because the problem remains the same after a few days I forget words

This whole thing sounds like a tweaking of distributed practice, for which there is substantial evidence regarding its efficacy.

Traditionally though, distributed practice uses longer study periods but the principle is the same: shows that scale often matters!

As well, distributed practice works well with interleaving (of a different learning subject of course).

As I was saying and according to some studies by using 3 reminders with 2 breaks of 10 minutes the two days following what we learned there remains barely 20% and at the end of the third day or so we have a 100% recall except that yes and no for my part I had to revise 14 definition of the penal code and for more than two weeks it happens to me to have memory lapses by forgetting for example the definition or the name of the article 9 or 10 or once the 4 etc…
So I don’t think that this method will be sufficient on a long term basis. I tried the spaced retrieval by doubling the time each time starting with 15sec then 30 and so on and I think that this method is much better than the spaced learning because the next day you remember directly what you have learned instead of waiting 3 days but after that it’s the same problem: memory lapses after a certain period of time
