You may find interesting to read the threads labelled PAO on this forum… Many people are using variations of PAO (but are still saying “PAO” because the basic principle stay the same).
I personally dislike the fixed actions so my PAO systems are actually POL systems (or PO-LP-HS in one case).

Memory systems are very personal things. Don’t hesitate to experiment with other categories, it’s part of using memory techniques, to make them YOURS, to find what works best for you.
