The object is a description of the actual image I am imagining in my mind.
The vocalization word I was very flexible with and matches major phonetics and is what I “read” to trigger the image in my mind when I see a number.
I did the following when selecting my images.
- Brainstorm 200-300 of each objects, people, actions in categories (celebrities, family members etc.) for a base list of ~700 images
- Refine this list to my favorite 100 objects, actions
- Brainstorm 5-6 major system based access words (vocalizations) for each of my 100 favorite images
- Perform analytics to distribute my favorite images across all 100 numbers
- For people I started with the phonetics and just picked a person matching the phonetics
For example my candidate major system access words for the image nuclear/volcanic explosion were eRuPt, DeTonate, eCK-Splode, SPlode. I ended up assigning SPlode because I needed an image for S-P still. Now S-P was taken though and I can’t use S-P access words for any other image.
The ultimate result of this process was getting ideal images but some “stretch” words assigned to those images. This is no problem at all though because its all in procedural memory by now and now I get to enjoy using my most desired images.
Some examples of stretch access words I ended up with:
MaiNe = Stephen King (would be better to use KiNg but CK-N was already taken by someone else)
CoaCH = my brother’s college nickname (would be better to use SCott but S-CK was already taken and I needed CK-CH.)
RaMs = American Football (would be better to use FooTball but F-T was already taken and I needed R-M)
