@Numbers I appreciate you asking.
I’m still in the process of writing up my process and reasoning.
Beau’s Journal on Long Term Mnemonics
Currently I have 3 aspects:
- One ordered list of Palaces I use for temporary storage.
- More intentional Palaces, which are real places that I organize information once I want to move them out of temporary storage and into a “finalized” location alongside other information that’s already organized.
- A logical convention to act as a sort of “Global index” for the items in Number 2.
- for fun I personally refer to my indexing system as the “evocative dice” system. Giordano Bruno would refer to this as a “semi-mathematical” convention.
I hosted a study group in April, and we got together online and talked about long term mnemonics and how to create systems that could scale, and challenges related to it.
I still owe everyone in the study group a write up of the notes ![]()
