Here is an example>>>> All Mnemonics in Old House of Gandaria (notion.so)
There are nearly 100 quizzes in a Memory Palace of mine in that link(and backlinks/not all are publicly visible in Notion),rules that I apply in my work everyday!
After I encoded those quizzes with mnemonics, I have put the above link in Anki,so Anki presents the quiz link time to time, according to its scheduling algorithm…
Each quiz has ‘mnemonics’. I use the Toggle list of “Notion” to quiz myself…
I could directly put the the “quizes with mnemonics” in Anki instead of using “Notion”. But because I like ‘networked’ knowledge(ie,zettelkasten),I prefer to make my ‘notes’ or quizzes in tools like “Notion” or “Obsidian”,and then, review them with Anki…
Of course, you don’t need “Anki” at all. You can create a scheduling system within “Notion” itself and completely give up Anki.
So,in short:
- Take a Memory Palace
- Create mnemonics for your quizzes.
- Put those mnemnics in the Loci of your MP
- Visit each loci and retrieve what the mnemonics represents(each quiz)
- Put the whole Memory Palace in Anki/or any other scheduling system…
Here is another example>> Notion – The all-in-one workspace for your notes, tasks, wikis, and databases.
It is a book that has 48 rules/laws. If you want to memorize those rules, just put the ‘mnemonics’/keywords/peg list in the “Loci” of your Memory Palace. Visit those loci, and you will be able to retrieve the rules one by one…For example, put an image of a “Mask” in a locus. When you visit the locus again and see the “Mask” in your mind eye,you will be able to retrieve the rule/law#3 of the book: Mask your Intentions
