Alfalfa duplicates on balanced scales means:
a = a.
or
ALF holding a tiny swan up, a cross, then Bette Midler holding up a tiny swan blances the scales with a giant Cheeto holding up a tiny swan on the other side.

You undoubtedly have more complex equations to memorize, so I’ll just let you get back to encoding your own. ![]()

I do a couple of things:
might get stored as x=bbb4ac2a on the basis that I can probably work out the rest of the structure when I needed it.
Negaitve B plus or minus the square root of b squared minus four ac all over 2 a (too the tune of pop goes the weasel)
