I strongly recommend against this approach when you’re in the early stages of building your list. ChatGPT is incredibly bad at following the phonetic ruleset for generating Major System words. You will waste so much time trying to give it clear instructions and it will usually spit out incorrect results. It simply does not do well at following structured commands. It is also much much much better to come up with as many of your own associations as possible. More on that later.

There are major system word generator websites, people have posted complete lists on this forum, there are tons of shortcuts for COMPLETING a list. I’d recommend against using any of them. The whole point in building systems and using these techniques is to train your brain to make associations and get stronger and faster at doing so. Outsourcing the work up front will have detrimental effects all down the line when you go to learn the system and put it into practice. If you rely on associations that stemmed from someone else’s brain and their experiences, those associations will be vastly inferior to ones that your own brain comes up with, even with and maybe especially because of the struggle and extra effort that it takes to do so.

One of my favorite sayings here is that the memory techniques are shortcuts for processing and retaining information but there are no shortcuts to learning these shortcuts. The process of learning the systems and applying them are different. You will spend a ton of time in the building and learning phase of a system so that you can save time when you eventually apply it. If you try to skip or fast forward through that beginning phase you will pay for it with a much more difficult time in learning and applying it.
You should accept that the process of filling in 1000 images will take time. A lot. Likely several months. If you don’t have realistic expectations, frustration at perceived “slowness” will likely cause you to burn out and abandon the project. I assume you already have a 2-digit major system list in place? Think about how long it took to fill that in, and then multiply that by at least 10. That’s your realistic timeframe for completing the grid. Likely even longer as it’s more challenging to find fits for 3 digits while keeping all of the imagery unique.
(If you don’t have a 2-digit list set up, definitely just start with that and get used to working with the system before you jump into the effort required with a 3-digit system.)

At least one. I actually really enjoyed that process. Again, it’s about managing expectations and being realistic about the time commitment needed. I tried finding 20 or 30 images per day. It actually helped immensely when learning the system compared to just having the written word on the answer side. The end goal of review is to be able to jump directly to image creation from the prompt of the number, having just the image helped me eliminate that middle step of reading the word before visualizing the image. Also, the process of thinking about and finding a good image helped because it caused interaction with the associations and involved working with the numbers and images in a different way.
Both points here are key as well. The process of creating and using it is invaluable in forging strong associations. If you just let someone or something else come up with all your words, they won’t be meaningful and you’ll have to expend tons of extra energy trying to make those connections stick.
