Not sure if it’s just me, but I don’t get any notifications when I receive direct messages, nor when there are replies to posts I replied to etc.

Judging by the number of people who (don’t) reply to direct/private messages, I’m assuming nobody else gets these notifications either.

Or is it just me?

Sorry about that. I’m trying to get the notifications fixed, but then got busy with the Kickstarter. I’ll see if I can get that fixed ASAP.

Did you get an email from the private message I just sent you?

Yes I got a mail for that.

I’ll see about getting the other notifications online ASAP.

Thanks. Would explain why my replies to very old threads have mostly gone unanswered: people seem unaware that they are being replied to…

Sorry about that. I’m working on getting that feature working again, but have been juggling many other things at the same time. I think that we’ll be able to get it working soon.

I too have been experiencing this problem. When I go into my account and click on the Notifications tab, it shows that I do not have any subscriptions. It would seem that the problem is that automatic subscriptions, when posting to or creating a topic, are not being created.

Luckily, there is a “latest posts and comments” area on the main page when you click on, “My Account,” which shows a list of recent posts that you have made. It’s easy to just click on one and see if there have been responses.

This should work until Mr. Cohen get’s the bug worked out. I have no real complaints. Most people have no idea how much work goes into maintaining something like this. I am just grateful that this is available. I don’t know what I would do if this disappeared.

Thank you, Mr. Cohen!

Thanks for understanding. I’m working on the site every day, keeping everything running as smoothly as possible, even when no changes are visible.

I’m trying to get the notifications bug fixed, and will double check on that today. The code is mostly written, but has not been installed yet.
