I became fascinated about mnemonics years back after watching Joshua Foer’s TED talk. “Imagine all the facts you can learn” I thought “School is going to be a breeze” I thought. Unfortunately, after reading memory books and practicing mnemonics I learned it would take a lot of practice before I’m good enough at mnemonics to apply them to learning. Instead to improve my mental performance I started running, eating healthy and meditating. More recently I began eating blueberries daily and drinking kale smoothies. Now memory training is my new daily hobby. I’ve been practicing, linking and the method of loci on memory league. Made it to level 10 on Images. I’m starting to research more advanced mnemonics.
