I was previously a fire fighter for a larger city in the United States. Due to some unforseen circumstances arising, I am currently in the middle of a career change and am currently back in school.
I learned about memory techniques when I stumbled onto Jonathan Levi’s SuperLearner program. SuperLearner also directed me to “Moonwalking with Einstein” by Joshua Foer, as well as the free Magnetic Memory program by Anthony Metivier. I thought the section on memory was a bit shy on the SuperLearner program, but the program overall is great. Magnetic Memory is good, especially for being free. Debating on the subscription to the paid version.
So far I am pretty new memory training. The only real feat I have done is memorize 20 words in one minute 40 seconds (I know isn’t impressive), but am excited to keep working. My main goal is to help with studying, as I currently take around 90 semester hours a year (pretty brutal doctoral program).
Look forward to getting to know everyone and hoping to learn from you!
