Mnemonic Techniques for Standardized Tests Like CLEP/DSST

#1

What mnemonic techniques are most effective for standardized test preparation? Think CLEP, DSST, SAT, or their equivalents in your part of the world.

I read somewhere (the Art of Memory Wiki Perhaps?) that the most effective way to cram for a standardized test with a study guide is to take the study guide’s table of contents, plus key concepts in each chapter, and memory palace the heck out of it. Is that a fast and effective way? Or, are you likely to burn yourself out trying that approach?

Are there other good methods for fast standardized test preparation?
