Hi all, just beginning to look at memory palaces. I have recently started playing accordion and am using the Gieseking & Leimer technique for memorizing the music itself - understanding the musical structure, writing down the ‘path’ of the melody, etc.

I think my mental imagery making is reasonable and would probably improve with time.

I was wondering if I could have a palace with each locus having the name of the tune, and a mental image of the sheet music, just the first line, say.

So I could say to myself the name of the tune which would take me to the location and show me the first line of the music.

Could I have a palace for pop songs and be able to walk around and see what tunes I know?

cheers

Mike
