Hi all, registration is possible here: [Memory League](https://memoryleague.com/#!/league/register) If we all use this link, it is less work for Simon Orton to register those himself who (only) post in this forum :). ---

Welcome to season 15! We have 88 competitors this season. Division 1 is split into 1a and 1b, which are at the same level. Division 2 is split into 2a and 2b, which are at the same level. Division 3 is split into 3a, 3b, 3c, and 3d, which are at the same level. Division 4 is split into 4a and 4b, which are at the same level. Division 5 is split into 5a and 5b, which are at the same level. ### Match Format The player named first (on the left) has the first choice of event, with the choice alternating each game. Players cannot choose the same event twice, and cannot choose both Names and International Names in the same match. (It’s fine to choose an event that your opponent has already chosen.) Players score 1 for each game won, 0.5 for each game drawn, and 0 for each game lost. The match ends when one player reaches 4 with a lead of 2, or when 8 games have been played. So the final score may be any of: - 4 - 0 - 4 - 1 - 4 - 2 - 4 - 4 - 4.5 - 0.5 - 4.5 - 1.5 - 4.5 - 2.5 - 4.5 - 3.5 - 5 - 3 If the score reaches 4 - 4, the match is a draw. There are no tiebreaks during the regular season. ### Scheduling Matches The League page for your division shows your opponent each week. You can play your opponents during other weeks if necessary. To indicate when you are available to play, click the appropriate boxes on the Availability table on your League page. If you and your opponent are both available at the same time, enter the date and time into the Schedule field. Your opponent will receive an email asking them to confirm the match time. When your opponent confirms, you will be notified by email. Please note the match targets in the original post above. The first target is for everyone to have played at least one match by the end of week 2 (2022-05-22T23:59:00Z). ### Playing Matches At the scheduled match time, both competitors should write a comment in the Memory League home page chat, to let their opponent know they are ready. The competitor whose name appears on the left should then challenge their opponent for the first game. When it’s time to choose the game type, choose **League** to identify the game as part of the league season. If you are in division 1 or 2, or have been asked to by the Memory League team, please record your match and upload the video to [Dropbox](https://www.dropbox.com/request/NGovDQlSdrMDVKeZzlz9) afterwards. ### Recording Results Either player can enter the result of a match on the League page that shows the match. The standings table is then updated automatically. ### Promotion/Relegation At the end of the regular season, the player highlighted in green at the top of each table will be promoted to the next higher division for next season, and the player highlighted in red at the bottom of each table will be relegated to the next lower division. There are playoffs between the player who finishes 2nd in their table (highlighted in amber) and the player from the division above who finishes 2nd-bottom in their table (also highlighted in amber), to determine whether the players stay in their current division, or are promoted/relegated. Where there is an uneven number of subdivisions for adjacent divisions, there is one playoff match for each of the smaller number of subdivisions. For example, this season we have 2a/2b and 3a/3b/3c/3d, so there will be two playoffs between divisions 2 and 3. Good luck, everyone! ---

hello everyone! 🙂 good morning @Simon I am writing because I do not know how to remedy a strange problem and I would be eternally grateful if you could help me :,) I know I’m late and I’m terribly sorry for that, but I signed up for the new season in Memory League on Saturday, May 7th (_I followed the procedure indicated in the instructions_), and as far as I know my nickname does not appear among the participants ☹ I had this problem also last time, I guess my account hasn’t enough permission to communicate with single users and subscribe to the events (?) Is there any way to fix it? Hoping to be able to compete, heartfelt thanks to everyone \<333 Ali (my nickname is DepaSqualo) ---

Hello Celine, To my understanding, this year there will not be a Season Scores Leaderboard. Qualification for the Slams will be via world ranking and via the qualifier tournaments. ---
