# Ideas for poems to memorize

Are there any poetry memorizers here? I thought we could compile a list of #poems that people could use to for memorization ideas. Add your favorites in the comments.

The two which I’ve been meaning to memorize to start are

- “Make Way For Liberty” by James Montgomery
- “Revolting Rhymes” by Roald Dahl

I’ve mostly memorized the first one just by reading it so much. It’s a really great legend about the Battle of Sempach Field when Switzerland won her independence from Austria.

The second is just enjoyable to read.
