How to force the brain to strenghten it's connections without any repetition

How can I trick or force my brain to strenghten it’s connections at any simple work with out repeating it multiple times ?

Ex- Reading.

That’s like asking, “how can I can gain muscle mass without lifting any weights?” You’ll probably have to put the effort in, just like everyone else.

You might be interested in the research behind spaced repetition.

You get a larger increase in brain connection strength per repetition if the repetition is soon before you would forget them. And active recall is much more effective than passive recall.
