Describe your mental images on paper, they can be imaginary places as well, quirky characters, silly, strange, horrifying, beautiful, etc., feel your whole body immersed in sensations such as smells, textures, sounds, etc., for this you can use apps for note taking for more privacy.

Drawing is a good idea to develop visualization and creativity, remember you don’t have to be perfect to start, just take action.

To @Magno ‘s point, another thing that has helped me a lot is to read lots of fiction and art appreciation. These combined can make wonders for you when it comes to creating your own images.

Yes, I like art a lot, I also like to store scenes in a place to work as an index, the picture frames help to memorize the scene better, I do it because my places are big and I have a lot of scenes based on information.
