From 0.0 to 0.1 [journaling the beginning of my memory training]

Hello! I’ve been lurking here for a while now. But being busy(cursed) with academics I was unable to concentrate on this new interest of mine. Now that my academic year never seems to be over and time won’t pause, I’ve decided to try to manage both. Hoping it would turn out better than imagined.

As of now, at most I can dedicate is an hour. So, I’ll try to layout my schedule wisely. I’ve started reading “Moonwalking with Einstein” by Joshua Foer. I have few memory palaces, and I’m thinking of more reliable ones.

For today I’m starting the memorization with some important points related to academics, for now I can’t afford to turn to history as much as I’d like to. Loads of work to be done. Starting looks brand new and I hope my (revived)interest doesn’t get rusted due to academics(again).

But as it’s said…
Today is never too late to be brand new!”

It is time well spend to learn and use memory techniques and you will be able to use it for your academic studies. Good luck
