According to an email I received today, it looks like the [USA Memory Championships qualifying event](https://artofmemory.com/competition/2020-usamc-qualifiers/) in April was postponed due to the new coronavirus.

> ### USAMC announces postponement of April 18 qualifying event at Penn State Harrisburg
>
> #### The USA Memory Championship will be postponing the April 18th qualifying round and team competition of the 2020 Memory Championship until a later date.
>
> Because of the uncertainty predicting impacts from the coronavirus pandemic, we are unable at this time to provide the new date. We encourage you to visit our Facebook page for regular updates as this will be our primary method of communicating real-time information to you.
>
> Please know that the well-being of our mental athletes, coaches, spectators and judges is of paramount importance to us.
>
> We will provide updates to you about the qualifying round as information becomes available. We do not anticipate any impact to the October 30 finals occurring at Kresge Auditorium at MIT.
